I sketch whenever I have a few spare moments, wherever I am. I first started sketching at school and it is something that I have always kept up. It makes me study and really look at the world around me. Take a look at how I see the world here.

I’m a freelance artist and illustrator working in the South West of England. I have been drawing and painting all my life trying to capture the world around me. In my paintings and drawings, you will see my love of boats, wildlife, countryside & people (not necessarily in that order!) I use oil and watercolour paint, charcoal and pencil. I’m a huge fan of sketching whenever I am able and offer hints & tips along the way.

“I can’t remember a time when I was not painting or drawing. It’s so much a part of who I am that I feel restless if I go too long without putting pencil or brush to paper. Not painting is like having an itch I can’t scratch!”
