‘Jedi Master Plo Koon Mask’

Well, ‘little R’ wanted a Star Wars Jedi Master ‘Plo Koon‘ mask for the fancy dress party in the village. “Dad, could you just make me…..”

Unfortunatly his favourite Jedi is also one of the most complicated! A chopped up cereal box and some acrylic paint later, I managed to make the desired mask. The 3D parts, goggles and mouth plate were stuck together with sticky tape.
It is a bit more like the Animated Clone Wars Plo Koon than the prequel films. In the films he is even more complicated.

R was very pleased with it, but didn’t win the best costume prize ~ rats!
I blame biased judging myself…
I’m not sure the judges knew who Plo Koon was either. Oh well!
